A birth doula is a non medical professional that is trained and certified in providing physical support, emotional support and partner support during labor and birth. We also provide evidence based information to help self advocacy and bridge the relationship between birthing people and medical providers. DONA International believes in a doula for every one who wants one.

Birth Doula
Includes:
2 prenatal meetings: discussing birth plans, preferences, pain management techniques, roles for birth partners and any pertinent medical history.
Continuous labor support until after baby is born and support until moved into postpartum recovery.
A postpartum visit once home, troubleshooting breast/chest feeding and newborn care. A debrief of the birth and birth outcomes.

Private Childbirth Classes
Two 1-1.5-hour sessions (breastfeeding included)
Education on all things perinatal. Including newborn feeding, changing, swaddling, bathing, schedules; nursery necessities, emotional and physical changes for the birthing person, what to expect from birth and postpartum recovery.

Perinatal Reiki sessions
Reiki is the ancient art of healing that encourages energy flow in the body. REI meaning divinely guided and KI referring to the energetic life force, sessions help guide your divine energy to enhance healing and well-being. Reiki promotes emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental realignment.
